Australia's digital dividend auction raises A$2bn

Telstra spends big, Vodafone skips out altogether, and A$1 billion worth of frequencies is left on the block.

Australia's telco regulator on Tuesday announced it has completed the auction of digital dividend spectrum, raising around A$2 billion (€1.5 billion) for the government. Three companies participated.
