VESTITEL announces the commencement of construction works for the new Fiber Optic network, between Greece and Bulgaria. This network is expected to be ready for use in approximately 5 months and will interconnect Sofia to Thessaloniki and Athens. The interconnection between Thessaloniki and Athens will be established via strategic partnerships.

The new path, in combination with the existing one, will form a protected and fully diverse network between the aforementioned countries.

VESTITEL’s objective is to provide fully protected interconnection among the countries in the Balkan region and furthermore to establish connectivity among the Balkans, the rest of Europe and Asia, while ensuring the best service quality at the most competitive prices.
