Transmode, a global supplier of packet optical networking solutions, today announced that it has recruited Johan Wilsby to be its new CFO. Johan will be part of the management team and report to CEO Karl Thedéen after he takes up the position in the second quarter of 2013.
Johan Wilsby joins Transmode from Hewlett-Packard where he was most recently Director Finance & Administration of the operations for Nordic and Baltics. He has a master's degree from the Stockholm School of Economics and has extensive experience from senior positions in finance in the IT sector. Prior to joining Hewlett-Packard in 2007, he worked for Microsoft from 1994, where he was Director Finance & Administration for Western Europe from 2004 to 2007.
"We are very pleased that Johan has now chosen to join us at Transmode. Transmode has grown rapidly in recent years and the business has become increasingly international. Johan brings a solid knowledge of finance and management in an international high tech business, which is extremely important for the implementation of our long-term strategy focused on continued geographic expansion, innovative products and efficient operations", said Karl Thedéen, CEO of Transmode.
Johan Wilsby succeeds Tomas Kihlstrand who will return to his consultancy practice as announced in a previous press release.
