Friday Review: Caught with your pants down

I'm not a morning person. In fact, that's something of an understatement. As such, I can understand how someone could roll out of bed, bleary-eyed and thick-headed, and set off for work or wherever having forgotten to put their trousers on. It's a minor miracle that I haven't done it myself... yet. I cannot, however, see the attraction in deliberately going out in London, in winter, and taking public transport without being clothed from the waist down. And yet people have been doing it for years, apparently. A colleague clued me in earlier this week about the 13th annual No Pants Subway Ride. Or no trousers on the tube, as I believe we called it over here. It originated in New York and the concept's pretty simple: travel on the underground with only your underwear covering your bottom half and act like nothing's amiss. And then everyone has a good old giggle…
