Real Time Innovation (RTI), the real-time infrastructure software company, today announced the integration of Push Technology’s real time data-on-demand communication software Diffusion™ to its secure messaging platform, RTI Connext™. This integration will enable RTI to offer its services securely across the public internet for the first time, opening up new markets for the company’s services and systems.

RTI provides highly-secure internal message buses for applications and devices on dedicated private networks, which are used extensively by military and defence organisations across the world. By providing internally-optimised robust infrastructure, RTI ensures that its customers have secure, efficient messaging capabilities.

“The adoption of RTI’s messaging systems by defence organisations internationally is testament to the company’s extensive experience and highly-secure offering,” explained Lee Cottle, VP of Business Development and Global Alliances at Push Technology. “Diffusion™ will enable RTI to push data beyond the edge, delivering real-time data on demand, and offer scalable, effective systems and services to new markets.”

Partnering with Push Technology will enable RTI to extend this service across the internet, delivering real-time updates with ultra-low latency and ultimately ensure the highest levels of service for its customers. Using the Diffusion™ platform also provides RTI with the ability to offer its services for use with multiple devices, without the need for further investment in technological development.

“Real-time data plays a more critical role than ever within distributed systems,” said David Barnett, vice president of products and markets at Real-Time Innovations (RTI). “But businesses face challenges in achieving interoperability across a multitude of devices and platforms, with the ability to access fast-changing operational data from web and mobile clients. Our partnership with Push Technology delivers a highly scalable, real-time messaging infrastructure that allows for seamless integration between RTI Connext applications, web applications and native mobile applications across the Internet.”
