There will be more cooperation among European incumbents. Full-scale mergers may be out of the question due to government interests, but national telcos will look for other ways to build scale and ease cost pressures.
We will hear more from ambitious Mexican operator America Movil as it makes its presence felt at both KPN and Telecom Austria, and considers other acquisitions outside its home region.
