SeaWell Networks Inc., the leader in multiscreen video delivery solutions for network operators today announced that Laurie Love has been appointed Vice President, International and Channel Sales. The company continues to expand and attract top industry talent to support the growing global interest in its flagship Spectrum™ Multiscreen 2.0 session-level management solution. Laurie Love will be responsible for the development and execution of SeaWell Network’s international and channel partner sales. Love brings over 20 years of international sales expertise with the service provider and integrator community and is the latest highly experienced industry executive that has recently joined the company.

Laurie will be instrumental in driving SeaWell Networks’ innovative Spectrum solution to enable operators to achieve the personalization and monetization potential of IP-streamed TV services. Love will be based in Boston, Massachusetts and reports directly to Susan George, Senior Vice President Sales and Distribution.

“We are seeing huge growth in demand in the international markets for multiscreen solutions that enable service providers to meet their subscriber demands for high-quality live and on-demand video to tablets, smartphones, game consoles, PCs, and other multiscreen devices,” said Susan George. “Laurie has a proven track record of successfully developing robust international and channel sales pipelines and she is the ideal person to help us expand our worldwide business.”

“As service providers continue to build a differentiated service model based on the demand for access to content on any device and at any time, there is a need to improve the monetization, control, and scalability of their delivery networks. This presents an enormous opportunity,” commented Love. “I am looking forward to helping operators and channel partners to realize the cost savings and revenue opportunities.”

Laurie Love joins SeaWell Networks from Acme Packet, where she was responsible for building the managed services and CPE resale business with Service Providers. Prior to this, Love was Vice President of Channel and Strategic Account Sales at Camiant, Inc. (acquired by Tekelec), Vice President of Sales at Avaya, Inc., and Vice President of Sales at Lucent Technologies.

Love is a graduate of Cornell University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics, and attended The George Washington University for a Masters in Telecommunications.
