Cerillion Technologies, an innovative provider of next generation customer management systems, today announced the completed implementation of its convergent CRM and Billing solution for Columbus Communications Inc., the largest Cable operator in the Caribbean region, operating under the brand name Flow. The rollout covered all territories including Curacao, Grenada, Jamaica and Trinidad, as well as the introduction of pioneering prepaid video services.

Deployed in a centralised data centre, the Cerillion solution standardises Columbus’ business on one ‘Corporate Solution’, providing streamlined operations and a faster time to market for new services. In addition, Cerillion has deployed its Interconnect Manager system to manage all interconnect billing and settlements across Columbus Communications’ fibre network throughout the Caribbean and Latin America.

Cerillion’s cable solution is built upon a user configurable workflow management engine, which is embedded into all the key Cerillion modules. This manages the sequencing of events and required actions in order to fulfil key cable business processes such as scheduling engineer visits and provisioning to the set-top box (STB) or cable modem. Cerillion also supports both address-centric and customer-centric management of cable services, including flexible tariffing across multiple outlets in the home or business, as well as managing the corresponding equipment inventory of set-top boxes and modems.
