Apple's iPhone 5 heading to an LTE network near you

Latest edition of coveted smartphone launching in nine countries from 21 September; camera upgraded to keep pace with likes of Nokia.

Apple unveiled an LTE-capable addition to its iPhone line-up on Wednesday, in a concerted effort to re-take the initiative in the intensely-competitive smartphone market. Thinner and lighter than iPhones that have gone before, Apple's senior vice president of product marketing Phil Schiller described it as "an absolute jewel". "It is the most beautiful product we have ever made, bar none," he said, as reported by Engadget.
