This week in telecoms everyone was worrying about leaks.
Analysts issued stark warnings on revenue leakage, Huawei was hit by Australia's fear of security leaks, Internet companies took action against the leaking of personal information... and, closer to home, my washing machine is making a decidedly funny noise.
In the current economic climate, we're all looking to save money, whether that means spending the weekend wielding spanner rather than shelling out for a new kitchen appliance, or making sure you are billing correctly for services provided.
Indeed, there was a strong message to telecoms operators from the analyst community this week: failure to invest in revenue assurance systems is a false economy that will cost you billions in the long run…
