Cloud computing will continue to be a major trend in 2011, when it is tipped to see real adoption across industries and new geographies. As usual with new technologies, some organisations are ploughing full steam ahead, whereas others are taking a more cautious approach. Communications service providers (CSPs) with their large network assets and computing powers should be well positioned to take advantage of cloud computing internally, as well as packaging services for their external customers.
