The premise of MMS is incredibly simple: Take a picture or shoot a video with your mobile device, choose to add text or not, send, repeat. Although the mobile industry is well aware of the revenue potential of multimedia messaging services (MMS), a number of obstacles in the past, including a lack of reach and a need for increased network capacity, have slowed its growth.
