It's official: there will be no 3G licence allocation in Thailand. Six months ago I wrote a Friday Review on the country's decade-long quest to roll out third-generation mobile services. At the time, the government had just pushed back its planned frequency auction once again to early 2010, although in the Total Telecom office we were pretty confident further delays would ensue.
