UK lacks spectrum to support LTE - analyst

Consultant expects LTE to drive refarming as operators march towards high-speed mobile broadband networks; predicts more vendor consolidation.

Telecoms consultant Bengt Nordström late on Tuesday warned that the U.K. currently has insufficient spectrum to support 3G Long Term Evolution (LTE) services.
