Just like its competitors in the multinational enterprise services market, Telstra International this year must navigate the uncertainties of an economic downturn. But unlike BT Global Services, AT&T, Orange Business Services and Verizon, London-based Telstra International faces the additional challenge of being the small arm of a distant incumbent whose primary focus is its domestic market and Asia: Telstra earns only 8% of its revenues from international business.
