Television broadcasters can block other companies from retransmitting their programs online, the European Court of Justice ruled Thursday.
The European Union's highest court was ruling on a case brought to it by U.K. TV broadcasters, including ITV PLC and Channel 4, against TVCatchup Ltd., which offers an internet television broadcasting service.
