Telecommunications infrastructure company Chorus Ltd. said Monday its first half net profit for the six months to Dec. 31 was 84 million New Zealand dollars (US$70.3 million) compared with NZ$78 million in the six months to June 30 as growth in fixed line and broadband connections continues.
