Microsoft Corp., the Redmond, Wash., software major, said Tuesday that it officially launched outlook.com, its new email service, and would begin migrating users of the Hotmail service to the new platform.
For Hotmail users, Microsoft said, nothing will change: They will keep their Hotmail email addresses, passwords and contacts.
