Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC Corp. said Monday its revenue and profitability in the first quarter may slip further amid intense competition from rivals Apple Inc. and Samsung Electronics Co. and emerging low-cost phone makers.
The Taoyuan-based company is forecasting revenue of between 50 billion-60 billion New Taiwan dollars ($1.69 billion-$2.03 billion)
