Google Inc.'s YouTube plans to launch paid channels, possibly during the second quarter, the Financial Times reported Tuesday, citing a person familiar with the matter.
YouTube is seeking proposals from a small number of content providers for channels that would cost $1 to $5 per month, the FT reported.
