Cablevision Systems Corp. was accused in a lawsuit, potentially worth $250 million, of failing to promptly refund customers for service lost as a result of superstorm Sandy.
The New York-based cable operator refuted the allegations, saying in a statement that the suit "misstates facts and is without merit."
