Baidu Inc. has agreed to acquire Providence Equity Partners' stake in iQiyi.com, as the Chinese-language search engine seeks to integrate the online-video platform into its services.
Terms of the deal, which is expected to close in the fourth quarter and will give Baidu a majority stake in iQiyi, weren't disclosed.
