The chief executive of telecommunications firm America Movil SAB said Friday he is hopeful the company's Colombian unit won't be excluded from an upcoming bidding round for licenses that would increase connection speeds on smartphone devices.
Colombian lawmakers and some officials have suggested excluding America Movil from the 4G bidding process.
