Akamai Technologies Inc.'s third-quarter earnings rose 14% as the Internet technology company reported double-digit revenue growth and stronger margins.
Shares rose 6.2% to $38.35 in after-hours trading as adjusted earnings and revenue topped expectations. Through the close, the stock is down 10% from a 52-week high Oct. 8.
