Yahoo Inc. named Google Inc. advertising executive Henrique de Castro its new chief operating officer, as Chief Executive Marissa Mayer continues to put her stamp on the company.
Mr. de Castro will join the company on or before Jan. 22, or as soon as he has satisfied his obligations to Google.
