Spain's debt-laden telecommunications giant Telefonica SA Friday said it has reached a deal to sell Atento, a call-center firm, to units of U.S. firm Bain Capital, for 1.039 billion euros ($1.34 billion).
In a press release, Telefonica said the deal is expected to be completed before the year-end.
