The U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday rejected a challenge to the constitutionality of a 2008 law that provided legal immunity to telecommunications companies that allegedly assisted the National Security Agency with its warrantless eavesdropping program after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
