The Philippine Supreme Court Tuesday suspended a controversial cybercrime law, the government said, amid huge online protests over fears it would curb Internet freedoms.
Justice Secretary Leila de Lima said the Supreme Court issued a "temporary restraining order," which stops laws from taking effect until further orders from the court.
