Emerging Asia-Pac telco revenue to hit $323bn by 2016

Telecom service revenue in emerging Asia-Pacific economies will reach $323.7 billion in 2016, according to figures published by Analysys Mason on Tuesday, compared to $229.7 billion in 2011.

In a new report covering China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Thailand and Bangladesh, the research firm predicted mobile penetration will rise to 95%
