The board of True Corp. has given approval to subsidiary Real Future Co. to join the third-generation mobile-service license auction for the 2.1 gigahertz spectrum, the Thai telecommunication company said in a regulatory filing Friday.
The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission plans to auction off the long-awaited licenses in mid-October.
