Ericsson on Monday won a contract with M1 that sees it become the Singaporean operator's primary mobile backhaul supplier.
Under the terms of the agreement, the Swedish kit maker will upgrade M1's TDM-based transmission network with IP-capable microwave and optical equipment, and provide backhaul management software. Financial terms were not disclosed.
