Some of the world's largest mobile operators on Tuesday announced the formation of a partnership focused on addressing the growing market for machine-to-machine (M2M) communications.
The group is comprised of seven companies: Dutch incumbent KPN, Spain's Telefonica, Japan's NTT DoCoMo, Australian incumbent Telstra, Russia's VimpelCom, Singapore-based SingTel, and Canada's Rogers.
