Softbank Mobile on Monday chose Nokia Siemens Networks to supply it with LTE equipment and services with a view to offering high-speed mobile broadband to end users by the autumn.
The contract will see NSN supply FDD-LTE base stations and microwave backhaul gear, and provide network implementation and system integration services.
