The bidding for bandwidth for third-generation mobile services covering the whole of India stands at INR48.31 billion (US$1.089 billion) after 28 rounds on the fifth day of auctions, the Department of Telecommunications said on its Web site Thursday.
The starting price was INR35.0 billion.
The bidding for the one available pan-India slot
