The European Commission cleared Thursday Avaya Inc. to take over Nortel Networks Corp.'s enterprise solutions business in a deal worth about $900 million.
The acquisition includes the Nortel Enterprise Solutions voice, data and government systems businesses.
Avaya has said it expects the transaction will increase its global scale, expand its channel partner
