U.K. incumbent, mobile operator will report quarterly results this week; Voda to add £500 million to cost-cutting plan, according to U.K. press.

U.K. telecoms operators BT and Vodafone will both report quarterly financial results this week and analysts predict the pair will announce a further £800 million of cost reductions between them as sales growth fails to excite.
