As the world becomes increasingly interconnected, cyber-attacks occur with increasing frequency and become more sophiscated. It is no longer about whether a cyber-attack will happen, but when it will happen. Many companies are starting to realise that they are not adequately protected against these threats and face associated reputational and business risks and costs. Today, cyber security is a critical issue at the top of the international agenda as data breaches and other security failures endanger the global economy. While enterprises rely heavily on data for a variety of functions, they are still uncertain about how to protect their data from intruders, potential theft, and other acts that cause issues within the company.
